A bachelor%u2019s degree in journalism, English, or similar field is required. This individual will be expected to write and produce long form stories for our news programs as well as spot news stories for our newscasts. Anchoring will be a regular component of this job. Applicants should bring a public radio voice, crisp writing, and great digital audio editing to the table. The candidate also must have solid Web skills, be familiar with social media, be able to operate broadcast equipment, and be knowledgeable of FCC broadcast regulations. The job requires participation in on-air fundraising. Other duties as assigned. A valid driver's license is also required.
