Job Title: Producer, Word of Mouth
Location: New Hampshire Public Radio
Description: New Hampshire Public Radio (NHPR) is seeking a full-time producer for our midday show Word of Mouth, which explores new and emerging ideas in a variety of fields. The successful candidate will generate fresh ideas, write scripts, conduct pre-interviews, edit audio, post to the website, engage in social media and produce outstanding content. The producer will work with Host, Executive Producer, VP for Programming, New Media Director, Production Manager, volunteers, interns and contributors. Based in NHPR's state-of-the-art facility, the position is in Concord, NH.
Requirements: Requirements include BA in relevant field or equivalent experience; 2 years of talk radio producing experience, preferably in public broadcasting, interest in a variety of fields; excellent writing, editing and production skills and familiarity with digital editing; creativity, multi-tasking skills and an ability to work autonomously.
