Position Title: News Director
Organization: Lakeshore Public Radio
Description: Lakeshore Public Radio seeks a full-time News Director/ Morning Host. This individual will report directly to the President& CEO. The News Director/Morning Host will hire and lead an aggressive and competitive radio news team. In addition, the ND will co-host our morning news daypart. Must have experience with local news, regional and national program sources, high-quality journalistic standards, be ready to develop and produce enterprise stories as well as spot news and most of all be a leader and successful team builder.
Required Qualifications: You must understand and use new radio technologies and computer software. Degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications or related field and 3-5 years radio experience preferred.
