Position Title: Reporter/Producer
Organization: South Dakota Public Broadcasting
Description: KUNC-FM in Greeley, CO is seeking a full-time reporter/producer to join our award-winning newsroom. The successful candidate will produce long form feature stories and newscast spots to air during KUNC's broadcast of Morning Edition and All Things Considered and provide edits for other reporters as needed; serves as a back-up host for Morning Edition and All Things Considered; particiapte in all station fundraising including on-air.
Requirements: 2 to 4 years in radio news reporting and producing feature length news reports. Public radio journalism experience is helpful. Must have the ability to write for the ear while accurately reflecting the facts of the story. Must have the ability to write for the ear while accurately reflecting the facts of the story. Use of digital audio equipment and editing is required.
Education: College degree in journalism or related field or equivalent in training and or experience preferred. This is a great opportunity for the right person to join a successful news team. KUNC covers much of Colorado's Front Range from Denver north as well as several mountain towns and resort areas and portions of the Eastern Plains.
