Job Title: Healthcare Reporter
Location: New Hampshire Public Radio
Description: New Hampshire Public Radio is seeking an experienced reporter to cover our health beat. NHPR's health beat is a rich opportunity for providing insight into the complex world of health care, universal coverage, and the effects of budget cuts and spending constraints in a recession. This reporter will cover private medical providers, government and nonprofit agencies involved with health care across the state, and will examine the New Hampshire health care in regional and national contexts.
Requirements: Knowledge of New Hampshire and/or New England is a plus. Candidates should have some radio experience, but also be able to write and produce news on multiple digital platforms. An understanding of social media is required; blogging experience and/or multimedia skills are a plus. Non-work opportunities abound.
