Position Title: Assistant Talk Show Producer (Radio Producer)
Organization: St. Louis Public Radio, KWMU
Description: St. Louis Public Radio seeks a full-time Assistant Talk Show Producer for the preparation, production and broadcast of locally produced programs "St. Louis on the Air" and "Cityscape." Develop ideas for talk show, research topics, write and produce high-quality material for broadcast, book guests, assure timely and accurate programs that are relevant, interesting and compelling. Perform related duties as assigned.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in communications, broadcasting or related area required. Two years of talk show production experience and/or news reporting required. Preference will be given to candidates who have direct public radio talk show experience.
