Listener Calls
Audience research shows that taking
listener calls can have a divisive impact on our core audience. Callers can drive away those listeners with little interest in or tolerance for callers who offer personal opinion instead of the factual information and expertise listeners value. If your show takes calls, every effort should be made to assure that the content role of callers is clearly defined, and that all calls are carefully screened and handled.
